Noida: A 33-year-old woman allegedly jumped to death along with her six-month-old daughter from the balcony of her 16th-floor residence at a high-rise society in Greater Noida West.

The incident took place around midnight on Tuesday at La Residentia Society. The security guard heard a loud noise of fall from Tower 2 and found a woman and her daughter lying in a pool of blood on reaching the spot. Both had already succumbed to injuries before they could be taken to the hospital, according to reports.

“Her family said the woman got married in 2021. Her brother said that since giving birth to her daughter six months ago, she had not been in good physical health and was also suffering from depression,” SHO of Bisrakh police station Arvind Singh was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
