New Delhi: A fight between two flatmates led to the death of one in the capital’s Majnu Ka Tilla area on Tuesday morning. Rani, 35, was allegedly stabbed to death by her flatmate, police said.
Her bloodied body was found on the terrace of a house, Sagar Kalsi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), North District was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Rani worked at a beauty parlour in Gurugram. Sapna, 36, had abused her father under the influence of liquor at a party last night, which led to a fight between the two women. At least six others were present at the party, police said.
The incident triggered another fight between the two women early this morning, police said. Sapna, a divorcee with a daughter, used a kitchen knife to stab her multiple times around 4:30 am. Rani died on the spot, police told mediapersons.
