Bhadrak: A lecturer of a women’s college has been suspended for allegedly slapping the principal in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.
According to sources, the Urdu lecturer of Bhadrak Women’s College, Naseema Khatun had gone to the room of college principal Supriti Kar for getting her signature on an application on Saturday. As the principal was busy, she told her to come later.
Agitated over this, Khatun had an argument with the principal and allegedly slapped her several times. This led principal Kar to file a complaint with the college management committee.
Acting on the complaint, the college management committee suspended Khatun from service. Meanwhile, Kar has also lodged a complaint at Bhadrak Town police station against Khatun.
The police have registered a case and started investigation. However, Khatun has not issued any statement in this regard.
