Rourkela: A woman and her six-year-old daughter were found dead under
mysterious circumstances in Orampada village under Hemagiri police
limits in Sundargarh district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Nandia Minz, wife of Pritish Minz
and their daughter Smruti Minz. The bodies were recovered from a
locked room of their house.
However, Nandia’s 4-year-old son was also rescued from the spot in a
critical condition and admitted to a local hospital.
Police sources said that preliminary investigation into the case
indicate that the duo has been murdered. The post-mortem report is awaited
to ascertain the exact cause of their death.
