Woman Stabbed In Broad Daylight In Odisha’s Cuttack City

Bhubaneswar: A masked man allegedly stabbed a woman after a brief altercation at Dolamundai in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Sunday afternoon.

An employee of a salon, the woman sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital here by Purighat police, which soon reached the spot. Her condition is stated to be critical, sources said.

Meanwhile, police have initiated a probe and efforts are on to nab the accused, who fled the spot after attacking the woman. CCTV cameras in the area are being examined to identify the culprit, the sources added.
