Woman Stabs Daughter With Pencil During Online Class

Mumbai; A woman in Mumbai has been booked for stabbing her 12-year-old daughter with a  pencil after she failed to answer questions during an online class.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the victim’s younger sister saw her mother assaulting her sister and immediately called up at the helpline number 1098.

Following the incident, two representatives from an NGO reached the victim’s house and confronted the accused woman. When the accused failed to realize her mistake, the NGO representatives lodged a police complaint.

The incident took place on Wednesday, when the victim, a student of Class 6, failed to answer the questions asked by her teacher during the online class.

The victim’s mother lost her cool and stabbed her on her back with a pencil and also bit her multiple times.
