Bhubaneswar: One person succumbed to COVID-19 on Sunday. The deceased is a 29-year-old woman of Khurda district.
As per a tweet by the Health and family Welfare department, the woman was also suffering from Sickle Cell Disease with Sickling Crisis and hypothyroid disease.
The last death due to COVID-19 was reported on March 29 when a 35-year-old man from Kalahandi district lost his fight with the virus.
He was also suffering from Diabetic Keto-acidosis with Chronic Kidney Disease.
