Woman Targeted Again In Another Snatching Case In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Close on the heels of two chain snatching cases in the city, three bike-borne miscreants tried to snatch bag from a woman near Rasulgarh square on Sarurday night.

According to police sources, while the woman, who works at SUM Ultimate Hospital, was going on her two-wheeler, tried to snatch her bag. As she applied brake, the bike driver lost balance and all the three fell down.

Traffic police personnel at the spot and the locals rushed to help the woman and catch hold of the miscreants. But two of them ran away while another one managed to start the bike and flee.

On being informed, police reached the place and seized a mobile phone of the miscreants from there. Police have started investigation after the victim woman filed a complaint, the sources said.

On October 6, a woman was admitted to the hospital after two bike-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from her neck near Apollo Hospitals.

Six days before, a woman was seriously injured after a miscreant snatched her mobile phone in Rasulgarh area.
