Woman Throws Acid On Hubby’s Lover In Rourkela

Rourkela: Opposing illicit relationship, wife of a lawyer allegedly threw acid on her husband’s lover at a parking space under Plant Site police limits in Rourkela on Wednesday night. The accused has been identified as Mani Kirai, wife of Kisaan Kirai of Bondamunda. According to sources, Kisaan had  an alleged extra-marital affair with the victim. Mani spotted them together in the parking space of the railway station and threw acid on the woman, who sustained injuries on her face, neck and hand. The victim was rushed to Ispat General Hospital. On being informed, police reached the spot and detained Mani for interrogation.
