G Udayagiri: A woman and her two daughters were charred to death after a fire broke out in her house at Magaraguda village under G. Udayagiri police limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Tuesday morning.
According to sources, the neighbours noticed the fire in the house this morning and informed the fire brigade, which rushed from G. Udayagiri town to the village and doused the flames. However, the woman, her three-year-old daughter and a nine-month-old daughter were charred to death by then.
The fire officials are probing the cause of the fire.
