Kendrapada: A woman ward member of Karama village under Debris block in Kendrapada district was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday morning.
She was identified as Sangita Mallick.
According to reports, Sangita’s body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room at her in-laws’ house.
On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot, seized the body and sent it for postmortem to ascertain the cause of death.
Meanwhile, family members of the deceased have lodged a police complaint accusing her in-laws of killing her.
Further probe is on, police sources said.
