Kalahandi: Body of a woman was recovered from her house at Dimingijal village under Bijepur police limits in Kalahandi district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Jana Majhi.
The matter came to light after a gramarakhi came to know about the incident and informed police, who rushed to the spot and recovered the body after searching the house.
Jana’s husband, Langi Majhi, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder. He reportedly attacked his wife with an axe on October 22 following a heated argument over some issue.
