Mayurbhanj: A woman’s partly charred body was recovered from a forest under Badampahar police limits of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.
Some residents spotted the body in the morning and informed police, who sent the body for post-mortem.
Though the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the woman was raped and then murdered. The police are investigating.
