Balasore: Empty buckets and water containers lined the road at Nilgiri in Balasore as women of Harijan Sahi and Odia Sahi of Bogishila Panchayat restored to a blocked over drinking water scarcity.
The agitators said that they had been dealing with the problem since long and the district administration had turned a deaf ear to their repeated plea to solve it.
On being informed, Nilgiri IIC Nalita Modi reached the spot and assured the agitators to supply water to the houses with the help of water tankers, following which they withdrew the blockade.
