Bhubaneswar: Women entrepreneurs from Bhubaneswar, Neha Panigrahi and Rashmita Dash, joined the Odisha BJP on Monday.
They were inducted into the saffron fold in the presence of former BJP state unit chief Samir Mohanty, Kalahandi MP Basanta Panda and party’s Puri MP candidate Sambit Patra.
Neha and Rashmita are sisters-in-law and run a unique initiated, Car Khana, through which they provide home-made food at a low price at their roadside stall near Ram Mandir in the city. They drive to the spot with food prepared at home in their car and thus the name.
Neha is also a software engineer. She along with the sister-in-law decided to turn foodpreneur for their love for cooking. They are also popular on social media.
The duo said that they chose BJP for a bigger platform to work for women empowerment.
