Boudh: Hundreds of women belonging to Palsagora panchayat under Kantamal block in Boudh district took out an anti-liquor rally here.
The protestors under the banner of Milita Odisha Nisha Nibarana Abhijan marched through the villages under Palsagora panchayat to spread public awareness about the ill effects of liquor.
Later, they staged a sit-in protest before the panchayat office demanding that proactive steps be initiated to make Kantamal block liquor-free.
