Women’s Cricket League In Bhubaneswar From Jan 15

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will conduct a Women’s League with participation of six teams in the city from January 15.

According to OCA, 54 women cricketers who had represented Odisha in the Senior and Junior categories along with 36 players selected from the ongoing Women Cricket Talent Hunt Programme have been added to form a pool of 90 players.

The matches to be played in round robin league (single leg basis) will be organised at different venues across Bhubaneswar.

All COVID-19 regulations will be followed during the tournament and all players and officials will be subjected to RTPCR test, the OCA stated in a release.

Besides, a women’s exhibition cricket match will be played between Odisha Pink and Odisha Blue January 13. The match will be streamed live on FanCode from 11:30 am.
