Women’s Day: JSW Plans To Increase Female Employees’ Strength In Odisha Unit

Bhubaneswar: The International Women’s Day was celebrated by JSW Steel on Tuesday with felicitation of its women employees for their achievements in diverse spheres of life.

The leading steel producer of the country organised a grand function on the occasion. The officials of the JSW steel including Ashesh Kumar Padhy, Head of Thermal; Srijit Mishra, vice-president, Human Resources; Biswaranjan Kumar Padhi, vice-president, Operations; Arun Rawat Head, Security (Mines) were present.

The dignitaries applauded the women employees’ contributions not only to the company but also to the society. It was pledged to make society a better, more equal place for all genders at the function as per this year’s theme “Break The Bias”.

Speaking on the occasion, Srijit Mishra said the company is keen on hiring more women employees including those from the local areas. The female employees’ strength is likely to go up multifold in coming days, he added. Female employees also shared their experiences with the dignitaries and participants.
