Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy: Odisha’s Madhuri, Sushree Named In East Zone Squad

Bhubaneswar: Two Odisha cricketers have been selected in the East Zone squad for the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy meet.

The East Zone selection committee, which met in Ranchi on November 10, named opener Madhuri Mehta and allrounder Sushree Dibyadarshini in a 15-member squad for the ournament to be played in Lucknow from November 24 to December 5.

There are 7 players from Bengal — including India internationals Dipti Sharma, Richa Ghosh and Titas Sadhu — besides 3 from Jharkhand, 2 from Assam and 1 from Tripura.

Dipti Sharma, Dhara Gujjar, Priyanka Bala, Richa Ghosh, Saika Ishaq, Titas Sadhu, Meta Pal (all Bengal), Ashwini Kumari, Mamta Paswan, Indrani Roy (all Jharkhand), Madhuri Mehta, Sushree Dibyadarshini (both Odisha), Umma K Chetry, Jinti Moni Kalita (both Assam) and Priyanka Acharjee.
