‘Worst Of The Worst’ Criminals: 89 Indians In ‘Illegal Aliens’ List Issued By US Homeland Security

Worst of worst criminals in US

New Delhi: The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched a public database named ‘Arrested: Worst of Worst’ to share a list of “criminal illegal aliens” who have been arrested and convicted as part of the Donald Trump administration’s immigration enforcement drive.

Among 25,000 immigrants arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since the campaign started in 2025, there are 89 Indian individuals.

“DHS has launched http://WOW.DHS.GOV so Americans can see the criminal illegal aliens we are arresting, their crimes, and the communities we removed them from. Yesterday, @ICEgov arrested more murderers, sex off

enders, and drug traffickers from American communities,” DHS said in a post on social media.

The DHS website has published names, mugshots, locations of arrest, and the alleged crimes committed by these immigrants. The ‘Worst of Worst’ have been arrested or convicted on a variety of charges, including financial fraud, violent crimes, drug trafficking, sexual assault and others.

At least 22 out of the 89 Indians in the list were linked to financial crimes like larceny, tax fraud, wire fraud and others, 21 were convicted of violent crimes like assault and burglary, and 17 convicted of sexual offences. One person was convicted of homicide after a hit-and-run incident.

Tricia McLaughlin, DHS assistant secretary for public affairs, explained the idea of the website.

“It allows every American to see for themselves the criminal illegal aliens that we are arresting, what crimes they committed, and what communities we removed them from. This is all about transparency and showing results,” Portland Press Herald quoted McLaughlin as saying.
