Wreckage of the Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 aircraft, carrying eight crew members and five passengers, was reportedly found near Payum village in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday afternoon.
The plane had gone missing after taking off from Jorhat airbase in Assam at around 12:25. It was to land at Arunachal Pradesh’s Mechuka airfield but lost all contacts with ground staff at around 1 pm.
