Xiaomi has opened its 2000th authorized service centre in India. With the opening of the new service centre in New Delhi on Saturday, the Chinese tech major now covers 680 cities, thus effectively covering 90 per cent of Indian districts.
The northern most service center is located at Leh, while the southern most is at Kanyakumari. In the east, it stretches to Ziro in the north east and Dwarka in the west.
Xiaomi is now the number 1 seller of smartphones and smart TVs in India.
According to a report by Red Quanta, Xiaomi leads services in 3 parameters. It claims to have half the Field Failure Rate (FFR) of the industry average with 96 per cent of cases being resolved within 4 hours.
