Mumbai: Police have arrested ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor Karan Mehra for domestic violence.
The arrest came after Karan’s wife and actress Nisha Rawal filed a police complaint on Monday night. Nisha filed the complaint after a brawl at home.
According to an India Today report, Karan and Nisha have been facing trouble in their marriage for a few months now. However, the couple, who have a four-year-old son, were reportedly working on their relationship.
Karan was staying in Punjab for a while for a Punjabi TV show. Due to that, the couple was not able to spend much time together.
However, Karan had to return to Mumbai last month after a few crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
