Bhubaneswar: Intense rain and thundershower may lash several parts of five districts of Odisha including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities on Wednesday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
The weather agency also issued yellow alert at 2.45 pm and said rain/thundershowe with one or two spells of intense rain may affect some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghpur, Balangir and Kalahandi within next three hours.
People have been advised by the weather agency to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places.
