Nabarangpur: Youth Congress activists of Nabarangpur district on Monday burned posters of Cuttack Mayor Subash Singh in protest against his warning that lax civic officials would be “transferred to Malkangiri”.

The protestors warned that Singh would not be allowed to enter undivided Koraput.

At a meeting of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), Singh warned officials to complete all civic works related to roads, drainage problems and JICA on time and ensure such works are carried out in a proper manner. Lax officials would be “transferred to Malkangiri”, he warned.
