Young Businessman On Way To Funeral Dies In Road Mishap In Odisha’s Sundargarh

Rourkela: A young businessman on way to attend the funeral of one of his relatives died in a car accident in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday.

According to sources, the businessman, identified as Dinanath Mittal, owner of Mittal Biscuits company in Biramitrapur of the district, was going in his car to Vedvyas to attend the cremation of one of his relatives in the afternoon.

While he was travelling on the National Highway 143 passing through Rourkela and Biramitrapur, a truck coming in high speed collided with the car. As Dinanath was sustained grave injuries in the accident, the locals rushed him to a hospital in Rourkela. But he succumbed during the treatment in the hospital.

On being informed, a team from Biramitrapur police station wen to the accident spot and seized the truck that was involved in the accident. Dinanath’s car mangled in the mishap. But the truck driver has been absconding after the incident.
