Berhampur: Assistant executive engineer, Works, T Lokeshwar died of COVID-19 at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday night.
A bachelor and a native of Paralakhemundi town in Gajapati district, Lokeshwar (30) was posted at Khallikote in Ganjam district.
He was undergoing treatment at a private COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar after testing positive for the virus last week.
The body was taken to Chhatrapur in the night in an ambulance van and cremated in presence of the family members and Ganjam collector Vijay Kulange.
