Young Girl Found Hanging In Lodge In Odisha’s Khurda

Bhubaneswar: A young girl was found hanging in a room of a lodge at Jatni in Odisha’s Khurda district on Monday.

As per reports, the girl along with a boy had checked in the lodge on Sunday night. Late in the night, the boy left the lodge but did not return.

On Monday morning, some staff members of the lodge found the girl hanging in the room and informed Jatni police station.

A police team went to the lodge and brought down the body of the girl. Later, they sent the body for post-mortem.

The police have registered a case and started investigation. According to preliminary investigation, they have come to know that the boy belonged to Jagatsinghpur district. But the identity of both boy and girl has not been ascertained.
