Youth Arrested In Balangir Businessman Murder Case

Balangir: The police on Thursday arrested a youth in connection with
the murder of a businessman in Balangir district.

The accused was identified as Mukesh Chhatria, a resident of Maniguda
village under Komana police limits in the district.

According to police sources, Mukesh confessed to the crime he has
committed during interrogation. He has murdered one Kedar Meher, who
was running a cotton business at Larki village.

Kedar’s decomposed body was recovered by police from Thengajuri forest
near Mahakhand village on earlier on September 13, a day after he went
missing from his house. Following which, police started the investigation
and managed to nab the accused.
