Baripada: Police on Tuesday arrested a youth for allegedly recording an obscene video of a minor girl at Mundhakata under Bangriposi police limits in Baripada.
The accused, identified as Sanu Patra (20), had recorded a video of a minor girl while she was taking bath, police sources said.
The girl raised an alarm on seeing Sanu recording her using his cellphone, following which locals nabbed and thrashed him. They then handed him over to police.
Police seized the mobile phone from his possession. Similar obscene photos and videos of several women were also found in his mobile phone, the sources added.
