Youth Arrested For Making Intimate Video With Girlfriend Viral

Bhadrak: A youth was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly circulating a video of intimate moments with his girlfriend on social media.

According to available information, the accused, a Plus III student of a private college of Jajpur district, had recorded some intimate moments with his girlfriend, a degree student of the same college, inside the premises of the educational institution. He also blackmailed the girl and threatened her to make more such videos viral.

Later, the youth circulated the video clip on different social media platforms.

Family members of the victim had lodged a complaint regarding the incident at Dhamnagar police station.

Acting on the complaint, the cops picked up the accused from his residence at Bahabalpur in Jajpur district.

“The accused attempted to damage his mobile phone but police have seized the same and sent it for examination to collect evidence pertaining to the case,” informed SP (Bhadrak) B Gangadhar.
