Youth Attacked Over Past Enmity In Dhenkanal, Hospitalised

Kamakhyanagar: A youth was severely injured after being attacked by a group of miscreants at Arkahapal village under Kamakhyanagar police limits in Dhenkanal district late on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Srikant Sahu, was admitted to Kamakhyanagar sub-divisional hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after his condition deteriorated.
According to a police complaint lodged by the victim’s family members, Gauranga Nayak, Biduna Baral, Ganga Behera and Lata Baral intercepted Srikant’s motorcycle when he was returning home, attacked him with sharp weapons and fled.
Police have started an investigation into the matter.
