Youth beaten to death for ‘stealing’ goat in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A youth was beaten to death for allegedly stealing a goat at Jurapali village in Kuchinda of Sambalpur district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar Nayak. The accused reportedly fled the spot after committing the crime.

In a separate incident, a woman sustained critical burn injuries after her husband allegedly poured kerosene and set her ablaze over a family feud. She was admitted to the district headquarters hospital in a critical condition.
