Youth Bobbitised: Accused Woman Sent To Jail

Keonjhar: A married woman, who allegedly chopped off the genital of a youth at Nuagaan village under Harichandanpur police limits in Keonjhar on Wednesday night, was arrested on Friday.

The arrested woman, identified as Kamala Patra, was sent to judicial
custody after being produced in court.

The police also seized the sharp weapon, which was used in the crime,from her possession.

Meanwhile, the victim, Rajendra Nayak, was shifted to the surgery ward of the SCB
Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. H
is condition is stated to be stable now. A corrective surgery will be performed on him on November 12, sources said.

Rajendra belongs to Jharabeda village under Ghatagaon area. He was in relationship with the married woman. He came from Chennai on Tuesday night and went to
Kamala’s house. 

“She had invited me to see the Kali Puja. I went her house. She gave me food and liquor. When I was unconscious, she cut off my private part,” Rajendra alleged.

He sustained critical injuries after the attack and was rushed to Harichandanpur Hospital and later shifted to Keonjhar district headquarters hospital after his condition deteriorated.
