Bhubaneswar: Snatchers, who allegedly made away with a gold chain from woman at Oscar City under Laxmisagar police limits in Odisha capital, are yet to nabbed even after three days of the incident, sources said on Tuesday.
The woman was chased by a snatcher while she was plucking flowers in the locality around 3.40 am. She, however, tripped and fell down while running away from the snatcher. Following which, the accused pounced on her and snatched the gold chain. He then fled the spot with his aide who was waiting with a motorcycle nearby, the sources added.
The entire incident was captured in a nearby CCTV camera.
Police said that efforts are on to apprehend the looters on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
