Sonepur: A youth was charred to death after fire broke out in his house at Ghichapalli village under Birmaharajpur police limits in Sonepur district on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identifies as Ranjan Bibhor (38).
According to sources, the incident took place when the youth was asleep in his house at night. The fire broke out and engulfed the entire house.
On being informed, fire services personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.
The body of the youth was recovered and sent for postmortem.
The reason of the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained.
