Bhubaneswar: A youth was critically injured following a late-night knife attack in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar, sparking tension in the locality and prompting swift police action.
While Police arrested one person in connection with the incident that took place late on Friday, efforts are underway to trace other suspects.

olent clash broke out near Guru Kelucharan Park in Chandrasekharpur, reportedly triggered by an old rivalry between two groups. According to police sources, the victim, a resident of Damana, was attacked by a group of youths from the Housing Board colony.
The assailants inflicted severe injuries to his head and back before fleeing the scene. The injured youth was rushed to a hospital for treatment. His condition remains critical.
Police have arrested one individual in connection with the incident and deployed additional forces in the area to prevent further escalation. A manhunt has been launched to nab the remaining attackers. Authorities suspect that the assault was premeditated, rooted in longstanding enmity between the two groups.
