Bhubaneswar: A youth was critically injured reportedly in an armed attack by some miscreants in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Police sources said the victim, Sahil of Salia Sahi under Nayapalli police s
tation in the city, had previous enmity with the assailants. In the afternoon, the miscreants came in search of Sahil but did not find him and returned.
At around 5 pm, they spotted Sahil near GIT College under Maitri Vihar police limits. As soon as Sahil saw them, he started running. But the miscreants gave a chase and caught hold of him. They attacked Sahil with sword and other weapons and fled before the locals people could gather.
The locals rushed Sahil to Capital Hospital in a critical condition. Police have registered a case and started a manhunt to trace the miscreants, the sources said.
