Bhubaneswar: A youth allegedly attacked a woman and her daughter at Sailashree Vihar under Chandrasekharpur police limits in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
He has been identified as Rupesh Panda.
According to sources, the youth, who is the neighbour of the mother-daughter duo, entered into the house disguised as a woman and then attacked them with a knife.
Both mother, daughter and the youth were injured in the scuffle and have been admitted to Capital Hospital here.
According to preliminary investigation, the youth attacked the mother and daughter over some dispute between two families, but how he got injured in the incident is yet to be known.
Chandrasekharpur Police have initiated a probe to ascertain the motive of the crime.
