Cuttack: A youth died after coming in contact with a high tension wire on platform no-7 of the railway station in Cuttack on Friday morning.
According to reports, the incident took place around 7 am and the youth was burnt alive after coming in contact with a 35,000 KV high tension wire while climbing up a coal-laden goods train.
Following the incident, the GRP personnel rushed to the spot and brought down the charred body of the youth.
While the identity of the deceased was not known, some locals claimed that he was mentally deranged.
