Bhubaneswar: A youth was found hanging inside a Kalyan Mandap under Infocity police limits in Odisha capital on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash Bal, a native of Jajpur. He was working as an event manager at the Kalyan Mandap for the last five years.
According to sources, other employees found Prakash hanging inside a room at the Kalyan Mandap and informed police.
Infocity Police soon reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
Meanwhile, family members of the deceased have alleged that he was murdered for money. “Prakash had asked for Rs 30,000 a few days back and some people have threatened to kill him,” his mother told the media.
