Jajpur: A youth was found hanging from a tree in a cashew orchard of Baraj-Balighat forest under Mahakalapada block here on Friday.
He has been identified as Butu Nayak (22), a native of Godapokhari village in Athagarh.
According to sources, Butu was staying at his uncle’s place in Jajpur and had got married to a girl of Baraj village a few years ago.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for postmortem.
Though the actual cause behind the death of the youth is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he took the extreme step over some family dispute.
Investigation into the matter is on.
