Youth Found Murdered Behind Temple In Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh: The body of a youth was found with his throat slit behind a temple in Odisha’s Boudh district on Saturday.

The youth, identified as Bibhisana Maharathy of Jamapali village under Baghiapada police outpost in the district, had left his house on some work on Friday night. As he did not return home till late in the night, his family members started enquiring about him from the villagers.

Later, the family along with the villagers started to search him at different places in the village and outside. On ?Saturday morning, some villagers found Bibhisan dead in a pool of blood behind Goudadei temple in the area.

On being informed, a team from Baghiapada police outpost under Adarsh police station went to the spot and started investigation.

Police sources said preliminary investigation revealed that Bibhisan was hacked to death at some place and then his body was brought to be dumped behind the temple. There were also blood marks leading to a locked house nearby.

The police have registered an unnatural death case and started further investigation.
