Puri: Police on Saturday recovered the body of a youth near Mata Math Lane under Baliapanda police limits in Puri town.
The incident came to light when some locals spotted the youth lying in a pool of blood early this morning and informed the police, which rushed to the spot.
The deceased, identified as Somnath Mahapatra of Tulasi Nagar in Baseli Sahi area, had stab wounds on his chest and stomach.
Police later sent the body for postmortem and began an investigation.
