Bhubaneswar: Blackmailing a foreign student after she rejected his love proposal proved costly for a youth of Odisha’s Puri. He was arrested by Bharatpur police here on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Prithiviraj Mansingh (33) of Nuagada Basti.
According to sources, the young girl, whose nationalist has not been divulged, is pursuing a BPharma course in a private institute in the city. She was also taking dance classes and met the accused there. After befriending her, he offered to give her a lift and later requested for selfies.
