Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police have arrested a youth here for allegedly sodomising a six-year-old boy.
The accused have been identified as Chintamani Naik (21). He is a resident of Swargadhama in Jagannath Colony under Madhupatana police limits.
He was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the boy’s mother on Tuesday. She alleged that the accused lured him to a nearby school campus by giving him a packet of corn puffs while he was playing near the house and sodomised him. The incident took place around 5 pm on Monday.
