Boudh: A love triangle allegedly led to the murder of a youth, whose mutilated
body was found at Gulugulapadar village under Manamunda police limits in Boudh district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Santanu Kanhar.
Some villagers spotted the body in a garden and immediately alerted the police.
Quoting locals, a police officer said, “Santanu was in love a women who was also in a relationship with another person of the village. The woman has been detained for questioning. A manhunt has been launched and raids are being conducted at different places in the district to nab the accused.”
The body has been sent for post-mortem. Preliminary investigations indicate that the youth was battered to death with a crowbar, the officer added.
