Youth Kills Cousin In Khurda, Writes Confession On Wall

Khurda: A youth axed his cousin to death in an inebriated state at Simara village of Begunia in Khurda on Tuesday night.

Shockingly, the accused confessed to his crime on the wall of the house, where the crime took place, before fleeing.

The deceased has been identified as Satyabrata Patra (25). He was found in a pool of blood on his bed with 70 per cent of his neck cut in the axe attack this morning.

The accused used to stay in the same house. An habitual drinker, he allegedly killed Satybrata as the latter constantly nagged him for this habit of his.

Addressing the parents of the deceased, he scribbled on the wall saying that their son tortured him. He could not take last night beating and killed him.

On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation. A manhunt has been launched to nab him.
