Baripada: A youth allgedely beat his 60-year-old mother to death in an inebriated condition after she refused to give him Rs 100 to buy liquor at Hata Padia under Jasipur police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
The deceased has been identified as Salandi. The accused, Saroj Nayak (21), fled the spot after the incident, sources said.
