Bhubaneswar: A miscreant with criminal history spread terror by brandishing a sword in Badagada area of the Odisha Capital on Friday.
The person identified as Chintu Mohanty had been released on bail a few days back, said sources.
On Friday night during Ganesh puja celebration at Badagada area of the city, Chintu was seen doing stunts with a sword.
Locals said that the youth was drunk and threatening people time and again. A few people also sustained minor injuries due to his act, sources added.
A video of Chintu’s outrageous act was captured by passersby on mobile camera.
Based on a complaint, Badagada police registered a case and arrested Chintu who had fled from the scene after the incident.
